Mountain Home Health Services - How To Pay

If you meet the conditions for coverage, Medicare will cover 100% of the cost of services with no out-of-pocket expense for a deductible or co-pay. Veterans Administration, Medicaid, and most private health insurance plans also provide a home health benefit but may require some payment on your part. As part of Mountain's community commitment we will also accept indigent and charity patients.

Medicare may cover up to 100% of the cost of home health services.

How much do I pay?

 

To qualify for coverage, the following conditions apply:

• You require a skilled service for your illness or condition

• You are homebound which means it takes a considerable taxing effort to leave the home

• You require intermittent care which means the care needed is limited to visits on a part-time basis (i.e. not a sitter service)
